Hello,

I want to gather some sensors like temperature, sound and light level from my ipaq. DrDAQ seems very promise but it connects to the PC through the parallel port and the ipaq has only a serial port. Can I use a standard parallel to serial adapter or do I need a special adapter (like the parallel to usb adapter you are selling) ? Can you recommend my any alternative data logger/sensors combination that will do the job ?

Hi,

Unfortunately, our products are not designed to work on a PDA. The USB to Parallel port adapter is not suitable, since most PDA's have Windows CE, a cut down version of the windows operating system, it does not support all the functionality required.

For the above reason I am unable to recommend our products for use on an iPAQ.
