Good morning, for an Automotive industry we need to characterize HSD Twisted pair cables (100Ohm Balanced) for High speed data transfer (3-5 Gb/sec). What we are asked to measure on the cable are, mainly, the following:

- Input and transfer impedance
- Cable Attenuation
- Pair isolation/crosstalk
- Eye pattern (with mask control)
- Jitter

having a brief view on Pico's products looks like series 9000 could fill the requirements. Do you agree our feelings ?

Hi you can do this analysis using our software and hardware, however the bandwidth of the scope is 12 GHz, usually you need 5 harmonics, so for a 3-5MS/s you would need a bandwidth 15GHz - 25GHz.
