I am having trouble with PICO TC08 serial, I have a new computer (hp 5 core) I have installed PICO R5.21.3 but every time I set a run going and try and record after a minute or so it just hangs and stops responding? It works fine on my old computer, I am using the same features and have loaded the program on both computers from the same source several times, but it does not want to work on my hp no matter what I try. Both computers are running XP pro, Can anyone help?

This is most likely because the TC-08 is not receiving enough voltage through pins 4 and 7. This varies from computer to computer or from one USB to serial converter to another. My PC has a serial port card in it and it generated the same problem, however when I used the serial to USB converter that we recommend it worked fine.
