DrDaq over Ethernet

Postby beeker325 » Mon Nov 03, 2003 7:29 pm

HI,
I there a known device that can change the parallel output/input of the DrDaq over to a ethernet or a rs-485 signal for longer distance logging? I am trying to run about 50 to 75 feet over cat-5. Is the limitation in the voltage to run the Drdaq? Or noise induced by the long distance? Would shielded cat-5 be better solution for longer distance.

Hi,

Unfortunately, we do not have any such device that would work with the DrDAQ, and no third party product would work either.

Best regards,
