Hi guys,
I am using my brand new COP probe (i've had it a while but not used it) on an 03 Renault Laguna 1.8 16V with 4 coils on the plugs.

I have followed the instructions that came with it but I am not getting a waveform, can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong.

I have used the King Lead preset in the secondary ignition menu as advised in accompanying instructions.(I did try one or two other secondary options with no luck).

I have the latest software version 6.2.14.0

I do not have the grounded cable but I am using two BNC to 4mm plugs, two black plugs to ground, two red plugs together and either BNC in the scope and probe, as advised in the instructions.

Help appreciated as always,

Dan

Has this been the only vehicle you've tried the COP probe on with no success?

I'm not directly familiar with Renault's, but it is quite possible that the coils are just shielded that well. I've noticed it most, personally, on VW's where the COP probe will not output a usable signal.

HTH. Later, Matt.
