Current measurement

Hi,

I'm researching power modules and motion control systems and am looking for a total system that will enable me to data log and analyse the current i/p & o/p. System needs to include suitable sensors with high sample rate and 16 bit resolution, preferably with USB connection to computer. Line voltage is 415v 3 phase with power module output up to 10 kW and peak amps of 20.6A. The motion control is for a five axis machine. Current range will be mA to Amps
Can you advise what is the best (and economical) equipment for this purpose.

Hi

Have you seen our current clamps (http://accessories.picotech.com/current_clamps.html)? They will output a small voltage that is proportional to the measured current. These can be connected to one of our oscilloscopes to give you the current waveform.
