ADC 11 and negative voltages

Postby blaireau » Thu Feb 19, 2009 11:07 am

Hi,

I am considering getting an ADC 11 but I am unsure about something. The input range is 0 to 2.5V, right? Does that mean any negative voltage will be discarded or will damage the converter or will be considered as a positive voltage of the same magnitude? I realise this is a stupid question but I would very much like it to be replied to.
Thanks so much.

Hi

Any voltage of 0 or less will be measured as 0 by the ADC-11.

The ADC-11 is protected to +/- 30 V
