ADC-212/100

Hi

Im interested in the ADC-212/100. i need to capture a serial data stream that lasts approx 30mS. The frequency varies but highest is roughly 1-2Mhz. I have been having problems capturing it with an ADC-200/100 due to limited sample memory (at a sensible timebase)

Will the 212 be any better?

Thanks

Hi,

I answered your email but here is a synopsis of that:

The ADC212-100 will only give you a time period of 20ms, at a 160ns sampling rate. Therefore, it is not capable of providing the necessary 30 ms period you need.

To get the time period you want you would have to increase the time period to 230ns. You would then have to decide if this is still fast enough to measure your signal accurately.

Best regards,
Regards,
