Has any one got any idears as to why I'm not getting any sensible freq reading from my ADC-40. The signal is clean 4.5V square wave at freq of
2Hz to 600Hz.

How is the frequency measured and what parameters or settings can change to effect measurement.

Hi David,

2Hz is probably too low a speed for the settings (it will take quite a long time for the unit to collect enough data to give a sensible output).

Try entering a measurement on the scope trace in PicoScope from Settings|Measurements (the help file details how to do this).

... or you could set the scan time in Picolog quite high, although this deteriorates the performance of the software (set it to 1500000us or over).
