| does the software supplied allow the inputs to control the output e.g. the p.H. level rises too high the output can be used to contol a pump to level out the p.H. (closed loop feedback). |

Hi,
It is not possible to control the digital output through Picolog or Picoscope, however, this is possible if you were to write your own software. The voltage that can be recieved through the DO is in the range 3-5 volts depending on the PC. The maximum current draw is about 2 mA, trying to draw to much current could have an adverse effect on your PC. It would be better to use the DO as a trigger which would switch something on rather than power/drive an external device.
Best regards, |

Sorry to butt in on your thread. But I am considering purchasing th Dr Daq to do something similar to what youre require e.g. control a motor when ph is too high or low...
Is there any avliable software to do this on the DRDAQ device?
Thanks |

Hi,
Unfortunately, there is nothing in the software that will allow you to control the motor through Picolog/Picoscope.
However, it might be possible to do it by writing your own software and using the digital out to trigger a relay.
