the problem that i have is that the proximity switch that i am using gives out a 12v dc signal while the adc-16 will only take a 5v signal. is there anything i can do???
To use the proximity switch you will have to signal condition the input into the ADC-16. This can be done with a simple voltage divider to reduce it to 2.5 volts, which can be made by yourself or sourced elsewhere.
