i seem to be having problems getting smooth waveforms on various computers using the secondary pickups on a 4ch scope
it seems sometimes that the software draws nice and quickly whilst other times the system slows down and becomes very jerky
ive tried it on a few different systems and it seems to be the same and also does it on picoscope 5 and 6.
what settings affect screen redraw rate? should lowering the sampling rate help?
im not really sure what is normal and to be expected?
is there any video showing what it should be like?
ive tried it on a 2.0GHz core 2 duo with 2GB RAM running vista and still had the same issues. |

You are probably noticing the differences between streaming and block modes explained in my other response.
Pico 5 also streams but very, very slowly. So slowly as to be of no use for any but the slowest of signals. However, you can tell it to stay in block mode for better performance.
Pico 6 will switch between high speed streaming and block modes at the optimum time for your 3423 so no worries.
