I finally got my ADC-16 working with an old PC that has a 15 way D serial port and am now trying to set up the PLW Recorder sampler. The problem I have is if I set the sampler to 1 minute it actually samples about every 6 minutes.
If I set it to 10 seconds the actual is 1 min 20 secs
If I set it to 8 seconds the actual is 1 min 5 secs
If I set it to 7 seconds the actual is 55 seconds.
The I can't set it to 7.5 seconds!
How can I get it to run for 1 minute exact?
I need this so I can work out how long the sun has been out each day at 1 minute intervals.

Ok here is the scenario.
I have the sample set to 10 seconds ~ max samples 50000.
Scroll ~ Real time continuous ~ as many readings as possible.
At that setting I actually get a sample ever 1 minute 20 seconds.
However the PLW Spreadsheets shows the times at 10 second intervals, although I know in reality it is 1 minute 20 seconds.
What have I missed in making my settings.
I want it to achieve a 1 minute interval sample. (Atm if I set it to 1 minute, it actually sample every 6 minutes approx.)

Hi I have noticed a simillar problem with a customer with a different product. It seems to be PC dependant and happens on very few computers.
Try it on a nother computer and let me know if you still have this problem.
