|
|
Hi,
i have a Pico3206 and i would like to measure the noise floor of the scope. Is anyone know how to do this? Some articles suggest that we set the persistance to infinity prior to measuring noise floor, but I cant find the setting in the Pico's program. I also interested in knowing the standard deviation during my measurement. Does Pico's program provide the results?
Thanks. |

Hello skai,
The most simple method would be to run the spectrum analyser mode and measure the noise floor.
PicoScope 6 would be ideal and you should ensure that the input is terminated and that the voltage range and number of bins are set the same as your intended usage.
