Hi Guys
I’ve got an interesting problem. I downloaded PicoFull_r5_15_6.exe and installed it on three different computers running XP and Win98. I have ADC-40. It doesn’t work on any of these computers. The wave form is corrupted. For instance when you look at 50Hz sine wave it looks like square pattern as if the sampling rate were very slow. The funny thing about it is that when I was using PicoFull_r5_13_9.exe everything was fine on all of the machines. Does any one have PicoFull_r5_13_9.exe as I’ve lost it and now can’t find it anywhere.
Thanks,
Andrew |

Hi and thank you for your post.
The ADC 40 has a sampling rate of 20kS/s and therefore could only measures, as we recommend, a maximum sine wave of 4kHz, anything above this will either be aliased or not represented accurately.
Kind regards |

Hi I apologise, I thought you were talking about a 50kHz signal!
This was a bug, if you download the latest software this bug has been fixed in 5_16_2
http://www.picotech.com/software.html
Hope this helps. |
