I want to make a spreadsheet witch gives me a thickness profile of a metal plate.
I'am yousing a 0-5V analog wich present the thichness and a ttl encoder for the distance.
i want to write every time de encoder signal is high. 1pulse = 2mm.
the measerument speed will be around the 1 m/s.

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

This will be quite easy with Excel. The Unit you choose will need to have the effective sampling rate to achieve the measurements.

Building the Excel program will be simple as you can base it on one of our examples.
