I have run into some trouble when updating to the latest software version.
As far as i can see, Pico has implemented a new way of installing the PicoLog (and Pico scope) SW.
That is: I download a relative small installation program and then this program downloads and install the necessary files.
This is fine for a computer that has connection to the Internet, but in our lab we use some older PC's (Win95) that are "stand alone" computers and have no Internet connections.
How do I solve that problem ?.
Another issue is that even if I select another installation folder than the default (Program files\Pico...) e.g. C:\Pico\..., the program will still be installed in the default folder.
Best regards

Hello,
We are still implementing a new installer package. This has thrwon up a few minor problems but we are still improving this setup.
As our software is free, we suggest downloading the software to a network location and deploying it from there or copy the software to disk.
If you are still having problems, please email support@picotech.com
Best regards,
Michael |
