One of its features is test the bandwith response of a filter using the sweep function with "peak hold " into signal genarator. I can“t get good results.
Could you advise how to do this?
Thak you

Hi,
Sorry , my english too poor!
I want to make a frequency response chart, this is a Graph of dB vs kHz of any sample like a filter.
Looking into picotech web page, it says:
"Built-in Signal Generator
The PicoScope 3204 can output a fixed 1 kHz square wave for compensating oscilloscope probes. The signal generators built into the PicoScope 3205 and 3206 can output sine, square and triangle waves up to 1 MHz in frequency. /////A useful feature is the sweep function that can be combined with the spectrum analyzer peak hold function to quickly test the bandwidth response of filters and amplifiers.////"
I hope this clarify my question.
Best regards,
Ariel. |

Hi
Thank you for your post.
I donot have specific or detailed information on how to carry out this analysis. You may find our audio analysis pages useful:
http://www.picotech.com/applications/spectrum.html
These detail many experiments that can be carried out with the ADC-216 which relate to audio but some of them could possibly be done with the PS3000 and you might find what you are looking for there.
Best Regards |
