USB TC08 with an NT4 PC with only serial

For various unavoidable reasons I'd like to use an NT4 PC with the USB version of the TC08. Longer term things will migrate to XP but ideally I only want to buy the USB TC08 to keep a test setup fairly standard

I know NT doesn't support USB but is it feasible to use a Serial to USB converter sitting on one of the COM ports to talk to the USB TC08?

Perhaps there are some USB drivers out there for NT that I don't know about that work?

Hi

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately the USB to Serial converters are designed for use the other way round- ie to convert serial to USB.

What I would recommend is using our serial TC-08 which is the predecessor to the USB version and is still available from us at the same price as the USB version. This will then mean you can connect via a COMs port.
