Hi,
I'm trying to work out which scope to get hold of to look at microcontroller circuits up to about 20 Mhz. One possibility would be the 3000 series - I also came across the TiePie range and would be interested how you think your products compete.
We've used about 5 of your DrDaqs for system environment monitoring in our company (I've a delphi app which provides a little webserver for remote monitoring) which all works great, so it would be naturaly to include Picotech in the shortlist for a pc oscilloscope.
Thanks, John. |

Hi John
Thank you for your post and your interest in our products.
In our new PS3000 series the PS3206 is the highest specification oscilloscope. This is an 8 bit, 100MHz oscilloscope.
The main difference that I can see between the PS3206 and the TiePie HS3 is in the size of the internal buffer memory. The HS3 has 128k word/channel memory, which is much smaller than our 1MB memory size.
Hope this helps
Best Regards |
