just purchased a Drdaq and was curious about the best and most cost effective way to measure PPM of a liquid would be. I did purchase the PH probe and temp probes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PPM (parts per million) is a measure of ratio, hence you usually need to decide what chemicals you are measuring first. If you are just after a large particle count, then it's unlikely that DrDAQ will be suitable (none of our equipment have counters onboard).

If you can find a sensor yourself with a voltage output in the range 0-2.5V (I'm afraid I have no idea where to find one, although you could try http://www.rswww.com), then you can create your own sensor interface(detailed in the help file).
