I have a 5204 that will be connected to an embedded computer...and I need to stream as much data as I can to the disc on the computer. Has anyone done this, and if so what is involved in terms of additional software tasks?
I also need to set up a ramped signal for output on a 3204 using a similar computer. The ramp need to be from 30kHz to 10 MHz by small steps.
Please help!

Hi this depends really on how fast you want to stream.
A 3204 can stream continuously at 1kS/s, whilst with the 5000 if you write your own software you can stream continuously at up to 13.3 MS/s (this depends on your PC's performance and overheads).
How quick are you looking to sample and for how long?
Kind regards
