I have connected 1 EL001 to an EL005 and programmed the EL001 channels as door contacts for simplicity but have no switch status logs recorded. I can record internal values such as network current which increases with the EL001 attached and the EL001 LED blinks at the required rate mostly dim with occassional bright flashes. Any ideas?

Hi do you have any sensors connected to the EL001? If not then you will not see any readings.

The EL001 can be used to measure temperature with the EL015 thermistors or it can be used with a door switch.
