"invalid file format" error on old saved .psd file

I can't seem to open some old .psd files from 2002 and 2003 anymore. ADC-11, now running R5.16.2. The converter is set correctly in settings, I believe.

Can you take a look and see if you can tell me what's going on?

Dear HillP,

The file that you sent is not recognised by the latest software and will be reported as a bug.

I regret being unable to offer a resolution outlook, and perhaps you can view them using the earlier version that they were saved from.
