1. is the ADC-42 no longer available?

2. (even if it is no longer available) Can the ADC-42 be used with VB6 under windowsXP?

At the time of writing this, we still do have some in stock , we are not making any more but will continue to sell them whilst stocks are exhausted.

Yes the ADC42 does work under windows XP and we provide programming examples in VB6, you can find this when you do a custom installation, under Examples\ADC10 (AC10,12,40 and 42 all use the same dll).

Unfortunately shortly after I sent the forum posts we had a large order for the remaining ADC42s! All our stock for this product have been exhausted and as such we do not sell this product any more.
