I am graphing with a 3205 from 0 to 60 volts every minute using as many samples as possible, USB 2.0 port. The problem is that the sampler hangs on one number say (37.775 V for example) without locking up the program for several samples. Then the graph stairsteps down as it tries to "catch up with the actual voltage level" as read by a multimeter connected across the leads of the picoscope. I have set the sample rate to take one sample every second and it appears to have fixed the problem for the time being. Any idea how to fix this terrible bug?? By the way, it is not the computer as it does the same thing on two different computers.
A couple of things, firstly the 3205 measures a maximum of +/-20V however I assume you have scaled down the voltage.
Putting measurements at once every minute will (taking as many readings as possible) will give you an average for that minute. If however you chose "single" "readings per sample" it will take one measurement every minute.
It would be helpful if you could give me a better idea of your set up. I would also recommend downloading our latest software to see if this helps.
