Is there a photo tach or RPM probe available to connect to the 3223? Would it work in X Y mode to plot alternator output versus RPM?

Hello Nathan,
This is something that PicoScope 6 may be able to help you with.
Try picking up a spark on cyl 1 and add a measurement of RPM to this channel. Next, pick up your alternator signal and plot output on the screen.
You may need to play with the timebases to get a good picture of what is happening and use the frame buffer to view previous traces.
Best regards,
Michael |

I don't know how to do the RPM measurement with PicoScope 6.0.45. I can't find this option in measure.

Hi
Sorry for the confusion.
RPM Measurements are not possible currently but we hope to include this as being available an option in the not too distant future. |
