We make large use of big motors coupled to compressors. I would like to test the motors with real time monitoring of voltage and current absorption. We also use choppers for fan speed regulation and I would like to monitor the wave form and response of the devices used.

I'm interested in the two channel automotive kit with an extra differential probe (I would use the two channels for voltage and current per individual phase). Is there a kit already built for this, or should I simply add the 1+1 articles? Is there a bundle discount? Is there any other kit more suitable than the automotive one?

Hi

Thank you for your post.

I would suggest that you do not need the automotive kit. Instead you can buy the PS3224 non-automotive scope, a current clamp and voltage probe. This is all you should need and will work our cheaper. The only main difference in the scope is that it has a lower input voltage range of ±20V.

Best Regards
