Hi,
We are measuring the harmonics of our 240VAC/50Hz supply, (3rd to 11th, 150 to 550Hz) using a LEM PR230ACV probe.
We require to log the output over an indefinite period with the aim of analysing (FFT, etc) the data over that period.
Any software that has to be written must be in windows format (VB, Vis C++, Delphi).
Is the ADC100 (PicoLog) suitable? |

Hi,
The ADC-100 would not be suitable for this application as the ADC-100 does not have any in built memory and thus when the PCs Processor gives time to other processes it will affect the Sprectrum Analysers display pattern.
The unit which will meet the criteria is the ADC212/3, see specifications here.
The software Picolog will not be suitable for this application as it is for datalogging, but Picoscope would be this is an oscilloscope application.
You can write your own software in any of the programming languages stated, as we provide drivers for this and simple examples.
Best regards, |
