EL040 Current monitoring kit

Hi

We recently installed the EL040 Current monitoring kit with a TA011 clamp in our server room to monitor the current coming in to the Distribution Board from the UPS.

We get a reading of 246.1 Amp on Enviromon, but there's absolutely no way that the servers is drawing that much current, since the breaker in the Distribution Board is only 62 Amp breaker & it's not tripping.

Is the reading we're getting wrong? or do we need to convert the reading somehow to get the correct reading?

Hi Pieter

Thank you for your post.

All of the readings are scaled automatically so you shoudl not need to add any scaling. Do you have a known source which you can use to test the clamps? This will help to establish whether the system is faulty in any way.
