My Picoscope 3206 connected to Dell Inspiron laptop 4100 via a USB port freezes up periodically. I cannot kill the PicoScope program with the task manager, and the computer needs to be rebooted. It seems to happen when I move the USB cable. Very annoying. Anyone else out there having this problem? Any suggestions?
I am using the Pico latest software --downloaded today (R5.13). I am using Win XP. |

It seems as though this problem goes away when I use the external power plug for the 3206, rather then let it get power fron the USB port.
Best Regards,

Hello Derek,
The problem sounds like a bad connection on the USB cable. Have you tried a different USB cable?
Best regards,
