As enterprise network and server suppliers. we'd like to propose our Customer an embedded solution, that could trace:
- AC power trend, with surge and sags
- temperature trend
- humidity trend
The system should be as autonomous as possible; eventually using a mini-ATX hardware.
The results should be collected and sent via internet to a remote webserver, to be updated on protected webpages for monitoring, so that customers will have a centralised info system for their server rooms monitoring.
I'm quite confused about the right products to choose for this purpose.
Could you please help me in this topic?
Cheers

Hi,
Thank you for your post. The system that we produce that will allow you to display the results on a website is the Enviormon System.
Unfortuanately, this will not meet all the criteria specified. It takes a sample every minute at its maximum sampling rate and thus cannot be used to see surges and troughs as they may occur and finish before the sample is recorded.
This system can be used to sample temperature measurements either using the EL001 and EL015 for temperatures between -30 and 70 deg C or EL041 Thermocouple converter.
The humidity can be measured with the EL026 along with a temperature measurement. This unit measures temperature in the range -20 to 70 degrees C and RH between 0 and 95%.
The system is standalone and cen 250,000 samples before the data is downloaded, or it can be connected to a PC via the serial port and the data will be downloaded there and then.
Please see or webpages about this system and if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Best regards, |
