Hi,

I am trying to automatically collect multiple data files in text format, not psd format.

So far, I have only been able to collect up to 100 data files in psd format. I do this by setting the 'save on tigger' option in the trigger menu. I would like to collect 1000's of files, not just 100.

I am using software version 5.12.1 with the pico 3206.

Let me know if this can be done with either the 3206 or ADC-212.

Thanks,
Derek

Hello Derek,

YOu can save as many files from save on trigger as your hard disk can handle. YOu will need to edit the psw.ini file but read the manual first. Search for the psw.ini file settings.

Best regards,
Michael

Michael,
Thanks for your reply -- I will check the manual for editing the psw.ini file when I get back from traveling.
I am interested in saving a series of files in .txt format, rather than the psd format. Is this possible - if so, how?
Thanks,
Derek

hello Derek,

THank you for your post.

You can save the files as PSD format and convert them at a later date. You can use the batch convert programme to convert your PSD files to text format.

Please consult the manual for further information.

Best regards,
Michael

Hey all

I'm trying to copy as text waveforms from both channels A and B. Using the Copy as text function in the Edit menu only gives me the Channel A data. How can I get it so it will copy both channels.

Thanks

Hi Woodstack,

ChB data should follow the ChA data in the text file. You need to scroll down the file.
