I have just purchased a Picoscope 3224 and it will used by our techs for checking encoder signals in servo systems. These a nominally 24VDC, so I have purchased FIXED 10x probes. However, I am worried that some tech may try to use it on higher voltages (despite instructions not to!). My question is...Is there some replaceable protection (fuse, link, etc) anywhere in the input circuit? Question

Thanks...

Hi

Thank you for your email.

The unit does have some overvoltage protection but obviously it is advisable not to exceed the input voltage. If the unit is blown due to an overvoltage then the repair would be chargeable.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
