Hi:
I have an application where I need to log data remotely. I used a type of wireless modem to relay data wirelessly. First I used two computers both connected with the wireless modems and they can communicate via Hyperterminal at baud rate 57600 bps, which is the com setting of two computers. Then I connect ADC16 with one wireless modem, seperately powered up ADC16 with +- 5V power supply. PicoLog then failed to find ADC16 but I can see from the LEDs on the wireless modem that the two have communicated with each other. I assume there is a timeout window in your PicoLog, during which a reponse from ADC16 is expected. If this is correct, is there any possibility this timeout window can be extended?
Another test I did then is to connect ADC16 directly with computer and seperately power up ADC16 with +- 5V power supply, PicoLog find it straight away.
Thanks
