| I'm trying to ascertain the consumption of a unit over a 10 minute period. For this I'll use picolog - everything is self explanatory except I'm a bit confused on the scan time setting. So if I log data at 10ms interval, set maximum sample (10 * 60 * 100) 600000, readings per sample As many as possible. Recording Method Continuous and Stop/ What should the scantime setting be? |

Hello,
Real time continuous mode samples at the maximum rate available; 1ms.
The scan time here is unpredictable. You are literally calling the unit to give its current reading at the predetermined sampling interval.
If you are looking for a faster scan time then you will need to use either block mode or Streaming mode.
Best regards,
