kindly advise the following application
we intend to use Picoscope 3000 series
One of the main usages of the scope is to analyze digital pulses. Most of
the signal period
can go as low as micro seconds. i.e. 1 microsecond. Note that the signal is
not periodic.
I would like to capture a signal which may only have a length of
miliseconds, stop, and view
the signal.

Hi Andy
Thank you for your post.
This application sounds fine. The PS3000 is sufficiently fast that you should be able to gain enough points over a trace lasting milliseconds to see the pulses that you mention. What I would recommend is ensuring that the speed at which you believe you need to sample is within the capabilities fo the unit.
Hope this helps
Best Regards |
