| hi, i was using the signal generator hooking it up to channel B. why is it offset by 0.5V? in settings i had the offset turn off |

There should not be an offset on the signal generator. Which unit are you using? What signal generator settings are you using?

| 3205 , the signal generator settings are 5V Squarewave at 1khz |

I have tried this out and do not see an offset with the unit that I used. Could you send me a .psd file showing what you are seeing to tech@picotech.com and also include a link to this thread so that I can check back at what has already been said?
