I am continuing to have problems with Picolog freezing after about a minute of operation. It appears to continue to take samples but the samples do not change value even when the probe is lifted from its connection point.

I am running Windows 2000 on a Sony laptop. The converter is an ADC-212-100. I have changed the printer port to all possible settings including output only and disabled legacy plug and play. Picoscope also freezes when set to a very slow sweep such as 50 seconds / division.

The problem appears to be solved. I removed an Orcad dongle and it seems to work fine now.
