|

Hello, I'm trying to connect an ADC to our system, with limited success. The ADC-16 is wired in and recieving a readable signal from each of the 4 probes attached to it. However the signal at the PC wildly fluctuates, and gives no useful information, whilst the readings at the other instruments connected to the same probes remains constant. How can I stabilise the reading from the ADC16?
Thanks a lot! |

Hi
Thank you for your post, I am sorry to ehar that you have been seeing problems.
Firstly I would recommend ensuring that the ADC-16 is well grounded. It normally takes it's ground through the PC, however it might be beneficial to connect the outer casing of the RS232 port to the ground (the same ground as the PC).
If this doesn't help then send us a file to show us what you are seeing to tech@picotech.com and give us a brief outline of the problem so we can look into it.
Hope this helps
Best Regards |
