Hi,
I need to find a way of regulating temperature in sediment cores 2 degrees above the ambient temp. I presume this will involve measuring the temperature of the surrounding atmosphere and feeding this data to a thermostat and heater within my sediment cores. Any ideas? I need to find out what equipment I need for a cheap and robust system that can be left to its own devices for a matter of weeks at a time.

Hope someone can help,
Cheers,
Tim

Hi

Thank you for your post.

You could use our products to monitor the temperature you wish to, however it is not possible to use this to control the thermostat. The only way this might be possible would be if you wrote a piece of software which then also controlled another device.

For information on our Enviromon for long-term monitoring, please see our website at:

For information on our other temperature loggers please see:

Hope this helps

Best Regards
