Hi,
I have received a replacement non-standard printer port adapter for the ADC-100, for which many thanks.

However, despite cleaning up my machine, re-installing the latest software and inserting the fabled win.ini patch I am still having problems.

PicoScope is now behaving itself (usually) but the problem comes when I try to log frequencies using PicoLog.

Selecting DC or AC V from the drop-down menu produces a sensible result (ie. 0V with the probes shorted), but selecting frequency on either channel gives totally wild readings which swing around at random even with the probes shorted, and regardless of AC/DC selection on the ADC-100 itself.

If its any help I am running Windows XP on a Panasonic Toughbook lap-top.
Any bright ideas or shall I chuck the whole lot in a skip?
Regards
NickS

Hi

Thank you for your post.

The frequency function in Picolog will only work when you are sampling at 1 second or slower.

If you wish to see frequencies faster than this the Picoscope is the best option, however you cannot log the readings from Picoscope.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
