Hi - I have an ADC42, about 6 years old. I'm attempting to use it in Windows 98, after downloading the latest software. The display is 'stuck' at +5 V. (The Picoscope Windows software that came in the box gives the same problem - although I have used it successfully in the past on an older computer).
I've checked the port settings:
I/O Range 378-037F , (IRQ): 7
No parallel port confilicts in device manager.
(There is a parallel port zip driver, disabled).
Trying LTP2, LTP3 (in desparation!), display is stuck at -5V.
Can someone help me out with this please?
Phil. |

Hi
Thank you for your post. Sorry to hear that you are seeing problems.
It sounds as if the software cannot see the unit.
What mode is the parallel port set to in the BIOS? It should be set to one of the following modes:
SPP, Normal, Output Only, Unidirectional
It should not be set ot the following: ECP, EPP, Bidirectional.
If this doesn't help, let me know
Best Regards |

Thanks very much - I missed checking the BIOS - should have picked up on that from earlier posts. Works fine now. Cheers... |
