Start/Stop PicoLog using TC-08 Datalogger

My client is using a test apparatus with a 5 minute timer to energize a product under test. Power is supplied to the product until timeout occurs. Isolated relay contacts are available to also start and stop data acquisition during the test period.
Idea Is there a way to program one of the TC-08 channels to activate PicoLog for this 5 minute test? Or can some other scheme be used accomplish this task?

Hi

Thank you for your post.

The only way that you might achieve this aim is if you have Picolog open, and set a trigger limit on the TC-08 channel. This way, you can start it recording when the trigger event occurs.

If you then set the number of samples and rate so that it lasts for 5 minutes, it will stop at the end of this.
