ADC-216 Compatible 100x Probes?

Greetings Forum,

I am considering the ADC-216 for vacuum tube audio gear testing, which means measuring signals that may range as high as 1KV.

Seeing as the 216's maximum range is 20V, I'm thinking this means I need to use a 100x probe for this application, correct?

I'm considering the Probe Master 4910-2 for this application, as shown here:

Could you please tell me if this probe is compatible with the 216? If you have any other 100x probe recommendations, I'd enjoy knowing them as well.

Thank you for your post.

The probe that you mention should work fine with the ADC-216. As long as the voltage input to the unit does not exceed ±20V then a probe is usually suitable.

We do ourselves sell a X10/X100 probe that you might also like to consider. More information on this unit is available at:
