Hi,

I need to record a frequency for more than 1 hour (around 25 Hz with low variations of less than 1 Hz).
I can measure it accurately with picoscope but I can't figure out how to do the same with picolog.

Thanks.

PS : ADC 200/20

Hi,

Thank you for your post.

It is possible to use Picolog to measure frequency. To do this you have to set up the sampling rate so that the time interval is 1 second intervals. Once done select the input channels and when configuring the channel set the Frequeccy option. The frequency range that can be measured is dependent on the scan time adjust this so that you are able to see the range you want.

An alternative method would be to use a frequency to voltage converter and then a scaling file to convert the voltage into the frequency being measured.

Best regards,
