Post subject: DrDag over long distance
What is the best way to connect DrDag to a computer without using a parallel cable and specifically for a 20 meters distance?

Hello
You can connect a DrDAQ via USB using a USB to parallel port adaptor:
http://www.picotech.com/accessories.html
However, I don't think USB will work over 20 m.
We have tested USB extenders in the past with not particularly good results. A brief report can be found here:
http://www.picotech.com/support/kb/kbfiles/CAT5USB.pdf.
You might want to consider extending your sensor cables.
Hope this helps
Robin
