Hello MSH,
It is possible that the PicoLog software application and/or driver has not installed correctly. Therefore, please uninstall PicoLog using the Pico uninstall programme and delete the 'Pico Technology' folder in the 'program Files' folder on your hard drive.
Please install the latest version of PicoLog R5.19.0 (http://www.picotech.com/download.html) and ensure that your operating system correctly installs the driver from the 'new hardware found' wizard.
You may check that the driver has been installed from within 'device manager'.
