Hi,

We have EL040 and EL001 converters, which we have been using separately for some time now. However, now we're looking to monitor the current draw of an electric water heating system and would like to operate both onverters at the same time.

We can't seem to manage this unfortunately. With both converters connected to the logger (EL005) we get the error message "converter fail". However, when we unplug one of the converts the other works as normal.

Is it possible to use these two converter types at the same time?

Thanks

Hello Guest,

Please refer to section 4 of the user manual (http://www.picotech.com/document/pdf/emw044.pdf) for instructions on configuring the system, paying particular attention to paragraph 4.2.4, 'Setting converter addresses'.

If you are still experiencing difficulty after consulting the user manual, please send us an email to support@picotech.com, for a detailed response.

Regards
John
