Hi,

I would like to know if the 5000 series supports transitional sampling. That is what some Logic Analyzers have as a feature to save memory buffer. In the transitional sampling mode, a sample is only stored if it detects a signal change. In an scope, it would detect if a signal changed between a determined voltage and store it or not.

Another question I have is if I can use an external clock source.

Hi and thnak you for your post.

Unfortunately transitional sampling is not a feature of any of our scopes. In terms of the clock, do you mean to drive the scope? If so then this is not possible.

Kind regards
